Jeanne Casimir’s self-massage for glowing skin

When the world moves too fast, stress affects your well-being and shows on your face. Relax your features and give your skin the equivalent of a meditation session with facialist Jeanne Casimir’s self-massage routine, developed specifically for the sérénité Routine.

Part 1: a rebalancing massage

with the harmonie Serum

This massage helps to invigorate your face, open your eyes and activate your senses. It’s all connected.

Apply...

Spread 5 drops of the harmonie Serum over your hands and then place them in front of your face. Take a deep breath and pause for a moment to feel the benefits of the rebalancing neuro-perfume.

Apply the serum to the cheeks and forehead using soft, smoothing hand movements.

…harmonise!

With the flat of your hand, smooth the whole length of your neck from your collarbone to your jaw to relax your skin.

Place your index fingers on the inner corner of your eyes and gently move them over the eyelid stretching the skin towards your temples.

Then move to the eyebrows to open up the eye area by delicately drawing the skin to the forehead.

Using your fingertips, perform a gentle tapping motion over the whole face to tone skin and help it to absorb the product.

Part 2: a relaxing massage

with the sérénité Balm

Relax...

Before applying your skincare take a moment to relax your shoulders by rolling them outwards, then inwards. Lift them up towards your ears while breathing deeply. Hold your breath and then exhale as you relax.

Return your shoulders to their neutral position and release the tension.

Take a small amount of the sérénité balm, spread it between your hands then place them in front of your face. Breathe deeply and take a moment to appreciate the benefits of its neuro-fragrance.

Spread the balm over the cheeks and forehead using upwards movements, working from the inside outwards.

...smooth!

To ease the muscles in your jaw, place one hand over your head to hold the skin on the upper jaw, while with the other hand, gently stretch the muscles downwards.

Relax the forehead muscles by pinching your eyebrows between your index finger and thumb. Perform this massage vertically, from one eyebrow to the other.

Next, place the base of your palm along your eyebrow and move your hand up and down to release tension in the forehead.

For those little moments of stress during the day:

Start by making circular movements on your temples with the roll-on while breathing deeply.

Then, apply the Serenity Emotion Booster to the pressure point between your index and middle finger, and gently press with the other hand. Again, remember to take a deep breath to complete the ritual.
